COPYRIGHT is a hypothetical project for an exhibition, "Your Honor" which is to explore the fine line between art and law. It contains three sections, including Fake Art, Appropriation and Censorship. The exhibition catalogue overall form is inspired by the original copyright law. I went to the Law School of UCI and ask how the law book is designed. The evolution of law books from traditional book to the current binder is because of the speed of updating in law. The binder also makes perfect comparison in the art world. The artistic interpretation in law and art itself always brings the new conversation along, therefore, I adopt the form in the catalogue design and make the book an object and also a physical reminder for us to ask the question WHAT IS ART?
